Foolishly, I'd ignored most of Andronov's writings for a long time because of the poor print quality of some editions. Now I know better; the man is one of the best Dravidologists of all times.

Here is his concise grammar of Dravidian languages, a much-revised edition of an earlier work in Russian.

It includes important diachronic information as well as details on register and dialects in modern languages (the latter especially for Kannada). "Minor" Dravidian languages are amply attested as well. A treasure-trove which demands some concentration. I only crave more details on syntax.
